Service Grant
SLP/ Service Project Grants for Circle K, Key Clubs & Builders Clubs
Project Summary: The Kiwanis Club of Green Valley conducts an annual SLP Service Project Grant Program with each of its sponsored SLP’s. The program is designed to support the SLP’s by providing funds (up to $200) to a Builders Club, Key Club or Circle K Club that are sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Green Valley. Funds are used to help the SLP’s create an impactful service initiative that the specific SLP clubs find important to their community. SLP’s select their own projects which gives them a sense of ownership and motivates them to make the project meaningful and productive. Each service project should include hands-on activities for the SLP members and projects that include a large number of members.
Purpose of the Grants: to provide funds for Green Valley Sponsored Leadership Programs (Circle K, Key Clubs and Builders Clubs) to create impactful service projects that SLP members find important to their communities. One grant per Kiwanis Financial year (Sept. to Oct. of the next school year) will be awarded to each Green Valley Kiwanis Club Sponsored Program that submits an application and is approved by the Board of Green Valley Kiwanis.
